RDS Alarm Terms, Conditions, and Disclaimer

These Terms apply to the RDS Alarm Android app. By using RDS Alarm, the user agrees to these Terms.

What RDS Alarm Is

RDS Alarm is a macro regime alarm for people who keep emergency plans for periods of severe market stress or market collapse. The app monitors defined global stress indicators and displays one Reset Stress Score.

The app is designed to stay quiet most of the time and alert only when meaningful conditions change.

What RDS Alarm Is Not

RDS Alarm is not a price alert app, prediction system, broker, adviser, portfolio management service, or guarantee.

RDS Alarm does not tell users what to do with money, investments, businesses, property, employment, savings, debt, insurance, emergency supplies, or personal plans.

User Responsibility

RDS Alarm provides general stress-state information only. Users remain responsible for their own plans, decisions, risk, timing, and actions.

The app is one input into wider awareness. It should not be treated as the only source of information during severe market stress, market collapse, public emergency, policy intervention, or personal decision-making.

The Reset Stress Score

The Reset Stress Score is calculated using deterministic rules configured by RDS Alarm. The score may use market, macro, policy, sentiment, source-health, and historical data. Data can be delayed, stale, corrected, incomplete, unavailable, or affected by provider changes.

A high score does not guarantee any outcome. A low score does not guarantee safety. A missing notification does not mean conditions are safe. A received notification does not instruct the user to take any particular action.

Notifications

RDS Alarm notifications are designed to be rare. The app may send notifications for regime changes, major score boundaries, waiting-period changes, source issues, or other allowed alarm events.

Notification delivery depends on Android, Firebase, network availability, device settings, battery settings, and backend availability. Users should not rely solely on push notifications.

Paid App And Google Play

RDS Alarm may be sold as a one-time paid Android app through Google Play. Purchase, billing, download, updates, refunds, and account access are handled through Google Play unless stated otherwise by the app owner.

Availability And Changes

RDS Alarm depends on external data sources, Supabase, Firebase, Google Play, Android, and network services. The app owner may update the app, backend, scoring rules, data sources, notifications, or these Terms to maintain reliability, security, compliance, or product quality.

The app may occasionally be unavailable or show stale data. Source health is shown where relevant.

Acceptable Use

Users must not attempt to reverse engineer the backend, misuse the app, scrape protected endpoints, interfere with source-refresh jobs, abuse notification systems, or use the app in a way that damages the service or other users.

Liability

RDS Alarm is provided as a general information alarm. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the app owner is not responsible for losses, missed alerts, delayed data, incorrect user decisions, third-party data failures, market events, policy events, device failures, network failures, or service interruptions.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
